Finding the Funny Together
Nick Badasci, a Studio Community Project participant, applied with a simple but powerful idea: to create a family-friendly open mic stand-up comedy night where anyone — kids, teens, and adults — could try out jokes, sharpen their storytelling, or simply enjoy a good laugh.
Luxe Rest Ritual
Meris, a MOVE Studio Community Project participant, shares a series of uplifting videos designed to help high-performing, conscious individuals overcome burnout and restore their inner vitality. Through meditation, breathwork, yoga, journaling, and other time-tested practices, she guides viewers toward renewed energy, joy, and balance.
Multi Material Printing
The MAKE studio has the PRUSA XL 5 head 3d printer, allowing us to print objects with multiple colors and even giving us the the opportunity to use multiple materials during the same print. The way different plastics interact with each other can be utilized to achieve results that might otherwise be impossible.
VFX Test for Short Film “Costumes”
The Dreamweaver Collective has just completed a successful VFX test for our upcoming short film Costumes. This test focused on creating a convincing super speed effect — a key visual moment in the story.
Repair Extravaganza
150+ people participated by bringing a broken item. Over 70% of these items were fixed by a group of 40+ fixer volunteers, saving the attendees over $8,000 in estimated costs and diverting almost 500lbs from the landfill!
Chicken on a Skateboard
It’s a remote control chicken on a skateboard. It is rad. It’s name is Hennessy, a Lohmann Brown. Actually there are two of them. Count Bockula is a Master Grey and a Goofy-Foot. ABD? Not this. So lock in fam, cause we’re loosening the toe angle, and dropping in the coop.
Remembrance Stories-StoryCorps DIY
StoryCorps is back in the PLAY studio this fall! This time we are remembering loved ones who are no longer with us. StoryCorps is a non-profit whose mission is to document the human experience by recording conversations all across the country (our studio is the only place to record StoryCorps sessions in Idaho!).

Ana’s work explores manifestations of the Tarot through live actors, elaborate props, and hands-on audience interactive experiences.
Frog Flingin’ Fun
Fling-a-Frog will join an incredibly fun lineup of existing lawn games set up for the festival, such as Flywheel Toss, Tractor Pull and Duck, Duck, Fish. While the rules of the game are quite simple - aim for flies in the air and lily pads on the ground, the game is surprisingly challenging.

Making 3D Puppets for Film
Jessica Nebeker, a Studio Community Project participant, leads us through the journey of designing, engineering, and fabricating puppets for short films. Learn about the workflow from Fusion 360, into 3D printing, physical assembly, and finally the filming process of these wonderful art pieces.
Lessons in Design
The workshops guided the students through a typical design workflow: brainstorm ideas, sketch and rough out those ideas on paper and finally model the sketches in 3D space with clay.
